The tango is a dance that originated in Argentina sometime in the mid-nineteenth century. It is an extremely passionate and sensuous dance, often involving a close embrace and intertwined legs, making it an excellent choice for those wanting to strengthen the bond between them and their partner.

Puerto Ricans and Cubans living in New York City innovated this unique style in the mid-1970s. Salsa has a very distinctive feel, due to the “six over eight” style patterns that are extensively employed.
